How to play FreeCell Four Deck

Foundation:

There are sixteen foundation piles.

Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 4 of spades is a 5 of spades. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Cells:

Fourteen cells, all of which are originally vacant

One card can be stored in each cell. Any available card can be played into any available cell. Cell cards can be played back to the tableau or the foundation.

Tableau:

Fourteen tableau piles of cards, the first twelve of which have fifteen cards apiece and the following two of which have fourteen cards each. Every card is dealt face-up.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the opposing color. As a result, the cards that may be played on the 4 of clubs would be three of hearts or three of diamonds.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation, an empty cell, or any other tableau pile.

Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.
