How to play Indefatigable

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit. The Aces are dealt on these piles at the start of the game.

12 tableau piles: Stack them up or down by suit. The top card is accessible for play on the foundations or another tableau pile; however, only one card may be moved at a time. Any card can fill a space. At the start of the game, each pile is given four cards.

Stock: When no further movements can be made, click here to redeal. The tableau's remaining cards will be picked up and redealt. There are two redeals.

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles.

Each foundation pile is handed an ace at the start.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a Q of spades is a K of spades.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Splayed downward tableau piles of four cards each. Every card is dealt face-up.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one higher or one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the cards that might be played on the 4 of clubs are 3 of clubs or 5 of clubs.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.

Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.
