Each of eight foundations starts on a random card instead of an Ace, so hunting for Aces first won't help. Deal threes and redeal without limit until it clicks. Sally Game Layout

Sally Solitaire takes the familiar shape of two-deck Klondike and gives it one twist that changes everything: the foundations do not start on Aces. Instead, each of the eight foundations is seeded with a single card, and that card sets the base rank for the whole game. Every pile then climbs upward in the same suit, wrapping from King back around to Ace, until all fifty-two ranks of a suit are home.

Because the starting rank is random, no two deals feel alike, and the usual habit of hunting for Aces first goes out the window. The dealer's three-card turn keeps a steady flow of options moving to the waste, and there is no limit on redeals, so a careful player can keep cycling the stock as the tableau slowly opens up.

The tableau itself follows classic rules: nine columns dealt in a face-down staircase, alternating-color building down, and only a King may claim an emptied column. With two decks in play the board is large and forgiving of small mistakes, but the shifting foundation base rewards players who read the layout before committing to a plan.

How to play Sally Solitaire

Layout:

8 foundation piles: Each foundation is seeded with one card and builds up in the same suit, wrapping from King to Ace as needed until a full suit is gathered.

9 tableau piles: Build down in alternating colors. Sequences may be moved together. Only a King can fill an empty column. Cards are dealt in a face-down staircase, so only the top card of each pile starts face-up.

Stock: Click to turn three cards at a time to the waste. There is no limit on redeals through the stock.

Waste: The top card is playable to the tableau or the foundations.

Foundation:

There are eight foundation piles, two for each suit across the two decks.

Each pile begins with one dealt card, and that card fixes the base rank. A card can be added only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, wrapping from King up to Ace so the count continues without a break. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

The top card of each foundation can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.

Tableau:

Nine tableau piles are dealt in a descending staircase. Every pile has all but its top card dealt face-down; the top card of each pile is face-up.

A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, so the only cards that fit on a 9 of spades are the 8 of hearts and 8 of diamonds.

A properly ordered alternating-color sequence may be moved together from one column to another.

Only a King, or a sequence headed by a King, may be placed into an empty tableau column.

Stock and waste:

The undealt cards form the stock, and turned cards collect on the waste.

When you click on the stock, three cards are dealt to the waste at once. When the stock is empty, the waste is turned back to form a new stock, and this may be repeated without limit.

The top card of the waste can be played to the tableau or the foundations.
