Build all four foundations from a single seed card, in any rank order you like, then race the reserves and waste before your options run dry.

Osmosis Solitaire, also known as "Treasure Trove," is a single-deck game where the goal is to move all 52 cards onto four foundations. What makes it unusual is that the foundations build by suit in any rank order, not from Ace to King. Instead, a card may only join a foundation if a card of the same rank already sits on the foundation directly above it. One seed card is dealt to the first foundation at the start, and that seed rank becomes the opening rank for every foundation.
The deal is quick: four reserve piles of four cards each, the seed card, and the rest to a stock that feeds a waste. Success depends on reading the board and freeing the right cards from the reserves and waste before you run short of moves.
Other games in the Canfield family are worth a look if you enjoy reserves and a single foundation start. Osmosis has a well-known open variant called Peek, in which every reserve card is visible from the start, making the game far easier to plan. If you like this style, try Canfield Solitaire next.

Osmosis is played with a single 52-card deck. Four reserve piles of four cards each are dealt to the side, with only the top card of each pile turned face-up and available. One seed card is dealt to the first foundation to set the starting rank. The cards that remain form the stock, which deals to the waste. There are four foundations, one for each suit.
There are four foundation piles, one per suit. Each foundation begins with a card of the same rank as the seed, so the four bases end up as one card of each suit.
Foundations build by suit in any rank order. The first (top) foundation is unrestricted: you may add any card of its suit at any time. On the other three foundations, a card may only be added when a card of the same rank already lies on the foundation directly above it.
Cards placed on a foundation stay there for the rest of the game. You win when all 52 cards have reached the foundations.
There are four reserve piles of four cards each. Only the top card of each pile is face-up and playable; as soon as you move it, the next card is turned up.
Reserve cards may only be played to a foundation, never onto another reserve pile. Empty reserve piles are not refilled.
The stock is made up of the cards left after the deal. Click the stock to turn one card face-up onto the waste, and the top card of the waste is then available to play to a foundation.
When the stock runs out, the waste is turned back over to form a new stock, and you may deal through the cards again. There is no limit on the number of redeals.
