How to play Doublet Cell

Layout:

4 cells (top left) - card storage places. Each cell can only have one card. A card may be paired with another card of the same rank and color in a cell or tableau.

8 tableau piles (below cells) - discard pairs of identically ranked and colored cards (for example, two red Queens). Cards can be transferred to an empty cell. No gaps may be filled. At the start of the game, seven cards are dealt face up to the four piles on the left, and six cards are handed face up to the remaining piles.

Foundation:

There is just one foundation pile on which deleted cards are arranged.

Cells:

Four originally empty cells

One card can be stored in each cell. Any available card can be played into any available cell. Cells' cards can be returned to the tableau.

Tableau:

There are eight tableau piles of cards, with the first four each having seven cards and the next four each having six cards. Every card is dealt face up.

On the tableau, no construction is authorized.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are playable.

The tableau's empty spaces may not be filled.
