How to play Double Yukon

Layout:

8 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

10 tableau piles: Alternate color construction. Groups of cards can be moved in any order. Fill in the blanks with Kings or groupings of cards led by a King. To begin the game, one card is dealt to the first pile, two cards to the second pile, and so on. The top card is shown. The top pile receives four more face-up cards, while the second through tenth piles each receive five additional cards.

Foundation:

There are eight foundation piles.

Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a J of clubs is a Q of clubs. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Ten tableau piles of cards, as shown below, where "D" represents a face-down card and "U" represents a face-up card:

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the opposing color. As a result, the cards that might be played on a 10 of hearts are 9 of spades or 9 of clubs.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.

Only kings may fill empty spots in the tableau.

Furthermore, any face-up card in the tableau may be transferred to another tableau column where it fits, bringing all cards on top of it with it.
