This simple game is similar to a one-deck variant of Congress, except that the tableau starts empty. The game is simple, with a 90% chance of winning. It is played with a single deck, and your odds of victory are mainly determined by chance.

How to play Corner Suite

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

9 tableau piles: Build down in any suit. Only the top card of each pile is playable. Only garbage can be used to fill empty spaces. These piles are empty at the start of the game.

Stock: Click to flip over cards one at a time to the garbage. There are no redeals.

Waste: The top card can be played on the foundations or tableau.

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles.

Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 7 of spades is an 8 of spades.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

There are nine tableau piles, all of which are originally empty.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and of any suit. As a result, the card that may be played on a seven is a six of any suit.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or any non-empty tableau pile.

Any card from the garbage may be used to fill any empty spots in the tableau. They are not permitted to be filed from other tableau piles.

Only one card may be moved at a time; sequences are not permitted.

Stock and waste:

The stock is made up of the complete deck, and there is just one garbage pile.

When you click on the stock, one card from the stock is dealt to the garbage. There can only be one trip through the stock.

The top card of the trash can be played to the tableau or foundation.
