Start every pile empty and build the entire tableau from the waste alone, a forgiving one-deck game with a 90% win rate. Corner Suite Game Layout

Corner Suite Solitaire plays like a one-deck version of Congress, with one big difference: instead of dealing the tableau out, every pile starts empty and you build the whole layout yourself from the waste. It's a simple, forgiving game with a 90% chance of winning, since a single deck and open piles leave little room for a deal to go truly wrong.

Congress Solitaire is the closest relative, dealt out rather than built from scratch. If you'd rather start with the basics, original Solitaire is always there too.

How to play Corner Suite Solitaire

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

9 tableau piles: Build down in any suit. Only the top card of a pile is ever in play, and only single cards move. Any single card, whether it's the top card of the waste, another tableau pile, or a foundation pile, can fill an empty pile. All nine piles start empty.

Stock: Click to flip one card at a time to the waste. There are no redeals.

Waste: The top card can be played on the foundations or tableau.

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles.

All four piles start empty, and any ace can be placed on an empty foundation pile.

A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on a 7 of spades is an 8 of spades.

The top card of each foundation pile can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.

Tableau:

There are nine tableau piles, and all of them start empty.

A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower than the pile's current top card, regardless of suit, so a 6 of any suit fits on a 7.

Any tableau card not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or a non-empty tableau pile.

Any single card can fill an empty tableau spot: the top card of the waste, of another tableau pile, or of a foundation pile.

Only one card moves at a time; sequences aren't allowed.

Stock and waste:

The stock starts as the full deck, and there's a single waste pile.

Clicking the stock deals one card to the waste. You only get one pass through the deck, so make each card count.

The top card of the waste can be played to the tableau or foundation.
