Build single-suit runs across three full decks and a thirteen-column staircase in this stricter twist on Triple Klondike, with unlimited redeals to help.

Three Bears Solitaire is a same-suit take on Triple Klondike, built by Thomas Warfield across three full decks. The tableau opens as a familiar thirteen-column staircase, with one card in the first pile and thirteen in the last, and only the bottom card of each pile turned face-up.
The twist that gives the game its bite is the suit rule. Where classic Klondike lets you alternate red and black as you build down, Three Bears insists on a single suit the whole way. A row of hearts must stay all hearts, so the loose, forgiving feel of Klondike tightens into something that demands real care about which cards you commit and when.
Three full decks mean plenty of every card, which softens the difficulty a little, and the stock can be recycled as often as you like with no limit on redeals. Empty columns are strict, though: only a King may start a new pile there. Balancing those Kings against the twelve foundations you need to fill is the heart of a good game.
Fans of Three Bears will recognize Triple Klondike Solitaire and Double Klondike Solitaire right away, its closest relatives.

12 foundation piles: Build up in suit from Ace to King, one pile for each suit in each of the three decks. Completed cards move here automatically when a play is available.
13 tableau piles: Build down in the same suit. The piles are dealt as a staircase, from one card in the first pile up to thirteen in the last, with only the top card of each pile face-up.
Stock: Click to deal three cards at a time to the waste. The stock can be recycled as many times as you like.
Waste: The top card of the waste is available for play to the tableau or foundations.
There are twelve foundation piles, enough for every suit across the three decks.
A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, starting with an Ace and ending with the King.
Cards cannot be taken back from the foundation after they have been placed.
Thirteen tableau piles are dealt in a staircase, with the first pile holding one card and the last holding thirteen. Only the top card of each pile begins face-up; the rest turn over as they are uncovered.
A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on the 8 of hearts is the 7 of hearts.
A properly ordered run of same-suit cards may be moved together from one pile to another as a single unit.
Only a King, or a same-suit run headed by a King, may be placed into an empty tableau pile.
The cards left after the deal make up the stock.
When you click on the stock, three cards are dealt to the waste. There is no limit on redeals, so once the stock runs out you may turn it over and pass through it again.
The top card of the waste can be played to a tableau pile or a foundation.
