8 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.

At the start of the game, one card is dealt to the first pile, three to the second, five to the third, seven to the fourth, nine to the fifth, ten to the sixth, eight to the seventh, six to the eighth, four to the ninth, and two to the tenth.

Foundation:

There are eight foundation piles.

Any ace in the foundation may be transferred to any vacant pile.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that could be played on a 10 of hearts is a J of hearts. There can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Ten tableau piles of cards, as shown below, where "D" represents a face-down card and "U" represents a face-up card:

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and is of the opposing color. As a result, the cards that may be played on the 8 of hearts would be the 7 of spades or the 7 of clubs.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.

Only kings may fill empty spots in the tableau.

If the cards are alternately red and black, groups of cards in succession from high to low can be shifted from one tableau column to another.

Stock and waste:

There is one garbage pile and the remaining cards comprise the stock.

When you click on the stock, one card from the stock is dealt to the garbage. There can only be one trip through the stock.

The top card of the trash can be played to the tableau or foundation.
