How to play Smokey

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Construct in suit from the rank of the first card given to the first pile, wrapping from King to Ace as needed, until each pile has 13 cards.

7 tableau piles: Build down by color in 7 tableau piles. If groupings of cards are in sequence, move them down in the same suit. Fill in the gaps with a card one rank below the initial card given to the foundations. Fill gaps with Twos, for example, if the first card dealt to the foundations is a Three. Fill gaps with Kings if the first card dealt is an Ace. To begin the game, one card is dealt to the first pile, two cards to the second, and so on. The top card is shown.

Waste: Top card available for play on the foundations or tableau.
