Winery hands Vineyard two extra cells to stash an awkward card, but this single-deck build stays tough: only a 15% win rate.

Winery Solitaire takes Vineyard Solitaire and adds two single-card cells for extra breathing room. You still build the ten tableau piles down by alternating color, one card at a time, but now an awkward card can be tucked into a cell and pulled back out later. The game is difficult, with a 15% chance of winning, played with a single deck, and your result comes down mostly to skill.
Vineyard, Good Measure, Martha, and Bastion Solitaire are comparable solitaire games.
When you want the rules stripped back to basics, Solitaire is the original this one builds on.

4 foundation piles: Build up from Ace to King in the same suit.
10 tableau piles: Build down by alternating color. Only one card can be moved at a time. Any card can fill an empty pile. At the start of the game, each pile is dealt 5 cards face-up.
2 cells: Each cell holds one card. At the start of the game, each cell is handed one card.
There are four foundation piles.
Any Ace may be moved to an empty foundation pile to start it.
A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on a J of hearts is a Q of hearts.
The top card of each foundation can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.
Two cells, each holding one card at the start of the game.
Each cell holds a single card. Any available card can be tucked into an open cell, and a card sitting in a cell can be played back to the tableau or up to a foundation.
Ten tableau piles, each dealt five cards face-up.
A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, so the only cards that fit on the 6 of hearts are the 5 of spades and 5 of clubs.
Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation, an empty cell, or any other tableau pile.
Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.
