One tweak transforms Golf: the foundation wraps, so an Ace plays on a King and a King plays on an Ace, clearing away plenty of dead ends. Putt Putt Game Layout

Putt Putt Solitaire is Golf Solitaire with one rule change that opens things up: the foundation wraps, so you can play an Ace on a King or a King on an Ace. That single tweak clears away a lot of dead ends.

Lincoln Greens Solitaire plays by the same core idea, if you want to compare.

How to play Putt Putt Solitaire

Foundation:

There is one foundation pile.

You can play any card that's one rank higher or lower than the foundation's top card, regardless of suit. So on a 3, you can play a 2 or a 4. The foundation wraps too: play an Ace on a King, or a King on an Ace.

You can move the top foundation card back into play if a tableau pile will take it.

Tableau:

Seven tableau piles of five cards each, all dealt face-up.

No building is allowed on the tableau.

Any tableau card that isn't covered by another card can be played to the foundation.

Empty tableau spaces stay empty; nothing can fill them.

You can only move one card at a time; sequences aren't allowed.

Stock:

The stock holds the rest of the deck.

Click the stock to deal a fresh card onto the foundation.
