How to play Perseverance B

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles.

Each foundation pile is handed an ace at the start.

A card may be added to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the pile's previous top card and is of the same suit. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 6 of diamonds is a 7 of diamonds.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Splayed downward tableau piles of four cards each. Every card is dealt face-up.

Any king that appears when dealing with the tableau is shuffled to the bottom of the stack.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower and of the same suit as the original top card of the pile. As a result, the only card that could be played on a 4 of hearts is a 3 of hearts.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or any non-empty tableau pile.

The tableau's empty spaces may not be filled.

If all cards are of the same suit, groups of cards in succession from high to low may be moved from one tableau column to another.
