How to play Pile Up Solitaire

Tableau:

Fifteen tableau piles of cards, placed as follows, with "D" representing a face-down card and "U" representing a face-up card:

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is of equal rank as the pile's previous top card and is of any suit. As a result, the only card that could be played on a 10 is a 10.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto any other tableau pile.

Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.

Cards of the same rank can be transferred from one tableau column to another.
