One card lands on all six tableau piles the instant you tap the stock, no waste, no redeal. With only a modest win rate, timing is everything. Little Giant Game Layout

Little Giant Solitaire is the single-deck cousin of Giant, trimming the two-pack layout down to six tableau piles and one ordinary deck. It keeps the family's most distinctive habit intact: every time you tap the stock, one card lands on each of the six tableau piles at once, so the board grows in a single sweep rather than card by card. That rhythm rewards players who plan a few moves ahead before spending a deal.

The game is played with a single deck and offers no waste pile and no redeal, which makes each of the seven full stock deals count. You build the four foundations up in suit from Ace to King and build the tableau down in alternating colors, moving whole color-ordered runs when the sequence lines up. With only a modest win rate, Little Giant leans on careful timing, and much of your success comes down to when you choose to deal.

Little Giant Solitaire fans should also deal out Giant Solitaire or the classic Solitaire.

How to play Little Giant Solitaire

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Build up in suit from Ace to King.

6 tableau piles: Build down in alternating colors. Each pile starts with a single face-up card, and empty spaces may be filled with any card or run.

Stock: Click to deal one card onto every tableau pile at the same time. There is only one pass through the stock, and no redeals.

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles.

A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher and the same suit as the pile's current top card, so the only card that fits on the 8 of spades is the 9 of spades. Each pile begins with an Ace and there can be no more than 13 cards in a pile.

Cards cannot be taken from the foundation after they have been placed.

Tableau:

Six tableau piles of one card each, every card dealt face-up.

A card can be added to a tableau pile only if it's one rank lower and the opposite color of the pile's current top card, so the only cards that fit on the 8 of spades are the 7 of hearts and 7 of diamonds.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto the foundation or another tableau pile. A run of cards already in alternating color order may be moved together as a unit.

Empty tableau spaces may be filled with any card or any movable run.

Stock:

The remaining cards make up the stock. When you click on the stock, one card is dealt face-up onto each of the six tableau piles simultaneously. You get only one pass through the deck, and the final deal is partial. There are no redeals.
