Thomas Warfield's Spider version has a stock and a trash pile. The tableau begins with only one card in each column, but empty spots are automatically filled from the trash or stock. The game is medium in difficulty, with a 40% chance of winning. It is played with two decks, and your odds of victory are primarily determined by your talent.
Other solitaire games like Spider Solitaire, Beetle, and Black Widow are comparable to this one.

10 tableau piles: Construct down in any suit, wrapping from Ace to King as needed. Cards in sequence down in the same suit can be moved as a group. A spot is immediately filled from the trash or, if vacant, from the stock. When the stock and waste are empty, a King or a sequence of cards led by a King may fill the slots. At the start of the game, each pile is dealt one card.
Stock: Click to turn over 1 card at a time to the garbage. There are no redeals.
Waste: Top card is available for tableau play.
Splayed downhill, ten tableau piles of one card each. Every card is dealt face-up.
A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is one lower than the pile's previous top card and of any suit. As a result, the card that may be played on a ten is a nine of any suit. In the tableau, you may also play kings on aces.
Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card can be played onto any other tableau pile.
Empty tableau slots are immediately filled with a card from the discard pile. If the waste is empty, a card from the stock is placed in it. If the stock is depleted, the tableau's vacant places can only be replenished by kings.
If all cards are of the same suit, groups of cards in succession from high to low may be moved from one tableau column to another.
There is one garbage pile and the remaining cards comprise the stock.
When you click on the stock, one card from the stock is dealt to the garbage. There can only be one trip through the stock.
The top waste card is now accessible for tableau play.
