Brazilian strips the waste pile from two-deck Klondike: every stock click deals straight onto all ten tableau columns, no discard pile to lean on.

This two-deck Klondike variant from Brazil skips the waste pile entirely. Instead of turning stock cards onto a discard pile, every click deals a card straight onto each of the ten tableau columns.

It plays a lot like Double Klondike Solitaire, another two-deck Klondike variant, just without a waste pile to fall back on.

How to play Brazilian Solitaire

Foundation:

There are eight foundation piles.

Any ace may start an empty foundation pile.

A card can be added if it's one rank higher than the pile's current top card and the same suit.

So the only card that can follow a Jack of hearts is the Queen of hearts. Each pile holds up to 13 cards.

The top card of a foundation pile can be moved back into play if another pile will take it.

Tableau:

Ten tableau piles: one card in the first pile, two in the second, three in the third, and so on up to ten in the last. The top card in each pile is dealt face up, the rest face down.

A card can be added to a tableau pile if it's one rank lower than the pile's top card and the opposite color.

So the cards that can follow a 9 of hearts are the 8 of spades or the 8 of clubs.

Any card not covered by another card is free to move to a foundation or another tableau pile.

Only Kings can fill an empty tableau space.

When the cards run alternately red and black in sequence, you can move the whole run from one tableau pile to another in one go.

Stock:

The stock holds whatever cards are left after the deal.

Click the stock and it deals one card face up onto the top of every tableau pile.
