Play four games of Golf at once, side by side, sharing one stock, with foundations that wrap from King to Ace and back. Ants Game Layout

Ants Solitaire plays like four games of Golf running side by side, each with its own foundation pile and its own single-card tableau pile, all four fed from one shared stock.

Golf Solitaire is a close relative.

How to play Ants Solitaire

Foundation:

There are four foundation piles, one for each tableau pile.

A card can be added to a foundation pile only if it's one rank higher or one rank lower than the pile's current top card, regardless of suit, so the only cards that fit on a 5 are a 4 or a 6. The foundation wraps, so you can also play an ace on a king or a king on an ace.

The top card of each foundation can be moved back into play if another pile will accept it.

Tableau:

There are four tableau piles of one card each, all dealt face-up.

You can't build anything on the tableau.

Tableau cards can be played onto the foundation.

Empty tableau spaces can't be filled.

Only one card may be moved at a time; sequences are not permitted.

Stock:

The stock is made up of leftover cards.

Clicking the stock deals one card onto the top of each tableau pile, until the stock runs out.
