How to play Double Dot

Layout:

4 foundation piles: Constructed in the same suit by Twos. The first two piles begin with Aces, whereas the next two piles begin with Twos. At the start of the game, two Aces and two Twos of different colors are dealt on these piles.

8 tableau piles: Construct down by twos regardless of suit, wrapping as needed. A 6 can, for example, be played on an 8 or a Queen on an Ace. Move sets of cards that are in sequence down by twos, regardless of suit. Any card or legal collection of cards can fill a slot. At the start of the game, each pile is dealt one card face-up.

Stock: Stock By clicking, you can add one card to each tableau pile. There are no redeals.

Foundation:

Foundation piles are classified into two types.

Fundament A:

Foundation A has two piles. Each foundation is dealt an ace at the start. A pile. A card can be layered on top of a foundation. A pile if it is two higher than the pile's previous top card and of the same suit. As a result, the only card that could be played on an 8 of clubs is a 10 of clubs.

B Foundation:

Foundation B has two piles. A two is handed to each foundation B pile at the start. A card may be added to a foundation B pile if it is two higher and of the same suit as the original top card of the pile. As a result, the only card that might be played on a 7 of clubs is a 9 of clubs.

Cards cannot be removed from any foundation once they have been placed on it.

Tableau:

Splayed downhill, eight tableau piles of one card each. Every card is dealt face-up.

A card may be added to a tableau pile if it is two lower than the pile's previous top card and of any suit. As a result, the card that could be played on an eight is a six of any suit.

Cards on the tableau that are not covered by another card are free to be played onto the foundation or any other tableau pile.

Any card can fill an empty slot in the tableau.

Regardless of the suit, groups of cards in order down by two may be transferred from one tableau column to another.

Stock:

The stock is made up of leftover cards.

When you click on the stock, a card is dealt to the top of each tableau pile.
